We’d like to introduce a passionate lawn guy that you might have stumbled upon when googling or looking at YouTube how-to’s… Ben from Lawn Tips.
Ben is a qualified Greenkeeper and self described lawn enthusiast. Based in Orange, NSW he’s been showcasing his own lawn projects through video, Instagram posts and Facebook and has grown an audience of fellow lawn lovers where he shares all his knowledge. It’s great tips for home lawn folk and we’re excited that in a few weeks he’ll be kicking off another brand new lawn at his brother’s place. Lucky brother!
They're going to be growing a Kentucky Bluegrass lawn from scratch. Perfect for this time of the year as temperatures cool down. Note: This is a big project with lots of preparation due to a very rocky yard.
We’ll be sharing some of his videos and posts so you can see how he establishes a lawn from the beginning. Here’s the first video on his YouTube channel. There are lots of tips you can expect including soil preparation, irrigation, seeding and fertilising.
