The seasons are changing around Australia.  While most lawns are lower maintenance in Winter you'll need to pay some attention to ensure your lawn still looks good when Spring rolls around.

VICTORIA

Sowing in winter can still be successful but always remember that germination will be slower due to very cold soil temperatures. Stick to cool-season grasses for success.

NSW

In NSW look for cool-season grass varieties to sow this Winter. New grass seed needs special care. The extra effort will pay off in the long term. To grow a strong healthy plant with a strong root system means the soil needs to be constantly moist.
