Time to Fertilise Your Buffalo Lawn!
Buffalo lawns go into dormancy over winter so come Spring they need a big boost with a fertilise!
A Buffalo lawn is a WARM SEASON lawn. Every Winter as the weather cools your lawn will slow in it's growth and lose some colour.
When the Spring warmth returns you should use a High Analysis fertiliser like our Renovator or our Gold Pro Controlled Release fertilisers which are high in Nitrogen and will deliver a much needed colour injection.
Prior to winter you can also prepare your lawn for winter with a fertiliser prior to the colder weather. This will ensure your lawn is in tip top health before the cold begins.
Remember that your lawn may not need watering in winter and that watering it may just encourage wintergrass and weeds!
