Seasol for Lawns vs Renovator Lawn Fertiliser

Date: 11-01-2018

When it comes to boosting your lawn you need Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium

  • Nitrogen for a brilliant green colour
  • Phosphorus for development of a good root structure
  • Potassium to build plant strength and resistance to disease

There are some great lawn maintenance products online and it's confusing to know which is gives you the best bang for your buck. So it's important to know what the basic requirements for your lawn are.

Take a look at one of the popular brands, Seasol For Lawns:

Seasol: W/V: Nitrogen (N) 7.0%. Phosphorus (P) 0.8%. Potassium (K) 5.4%

Seasol for Lawns will have benefits for your soil and your plants roots.  With a rate of 7% nitrogen it will provide some benefit, but it's our recommendation that a higher level of nitrogen be used for sufficient boost in colour.  The spray is absorbed through the leaf with this product.

When you compare them to our Landscape Range Renovator Fertiliser you'll see that as a granular product it is absorbed through the roots, meaning when it's cut it remains green.

Landscape Range Renovator Fertiliser N:P:K 22:5:7

Nitrogen (N) 22%. Phosphorus (P) 5%. Potassium (K) 7%
