Lawn and Nature Strip Blend FAQs

1. When is the best time for sowing Lawn and Nature Strip Blend?

Ideally sow in Spring and Autumn when temperatures are moderate, though it’s possible to sow year round in most Australian locations.  Germination will be slower in locations with very cold winters due to low soil temperatures.  Check our ‘Can I sow this in my Location?’ for specific times and tips.

2. I’m completing a commercial project.  Can I use this blend successfully?

This blend is perfect for large scale projects where a quality result is required on a budget.  It will germinate very quickly and establish well.

3. Will this stay green all year round?

Yes, however Lawn and Nature Strip Blend will require additional irrigation in summer.  We recommend deep watering 2-3 times a week.  Depending on the severity of the summer heat and if water is unavailable during summer months this is challenging.  When irrigation is recommenced and temperatures drop this blend will usually recover well.
