Landscape Range All Winter Green Blend FAQs
1. When is the best time for sowing Landscape Range All Winter Green?
Oversow Buffalo or Couch lawns (warm season lawns) in Autumn ahead of winter.
For new lawns, ideally sow in Spring and Autumn when temperatures are moderate, though it’s possible to sow year round in most Australian locations. Germination will be slow in Winter in locations like Victoria and Tasmania due to low soil temperatures. Check our ‘Can I sow this in my Location?’ for specific times and tips.
2. Can I use this blend to oversow my existing lawn?
Landscape Range All Winter Green Blend is perfect for oversowing any lawn type. In particular this blend is perfect for oversowing Buffalo lawns or any type of warm season lawn that goes into dormancy in Winter. Oversowing with this blend will ensure continuous growth and green colour in locations with very cold winters.
3. Will this stay green all year round?
Yes, however All Winter Green Blend will require additional irrigation in summer. We recommend deep watering 2-3 times a week. Depending on the severity of the summer heat and if water is unavailable during summer months this is challenging. When irrigation is recommenced and temperatures drop this blend will usually recover well.
